Youth Service at Christian Shelter

All middle and high school students are invited to attend a service project at the Christian Shelter.
The morning will begin in the kitchen of Fellowship Hall where we will prepare a boxed lunch for 25 residents.
Next we will move to the shelter where we will get a tour of the shelter and end the day serving lunch to the residents. 
The Christian Shelter is located at 334 Barclay Street.

Service Opportunity for Youth!

Middle and High School youth are invited to visit the residents of Pine Bluff on Wednesday ,October 23rd  at 6:00 pm. We will be making a fall craft with residents and serving them a sweet treat.

Trunk or Treat at Asbury

The Asbury Parking lot facing Rt. 13 will have some fun cars with trunks full of treats!
Volunteers decorate their trunks and hand out candy as a safe alternative to trick-or-treating.

All Saints' Day Concert

Our newly appointed Director of Music, Gunner Chancey, is joined by friend and soprano, Marie Harrington, for a concert featuring works by Fauré, Debussy, and Strauss. There will also be arrangements and improvisations on familiar hymns. The themes of love, faith, and hope will be explored musically for All Saints’ Day.

Admission is free.
Free will offering to be taken.

featuring Asbury’s 74 rank Casavant Organ as well as Steinway Model D Concert Grand Piano.

Fall Cupcake Class with 2 Sweet Sistas

Join us at Asbury for a Fall Cupcake Class presented by 2 Sweet Sistas!

Each decorator will receive 6 cupcakes, 3 bags of frosting, sprinkles, and a presentation on how to decorate each cupcake.
The total cost per person is $35, BUT Asbury is covering $15 a person, so the final cost for you is $20 per person!

Forms available in both welcome centers. Please turn in your forms to Heather or Darlene. RSVP by October 28th.

Pancake Breakfast (ASP)

ASP has long held monthly pancake breakfasts to help raise money for their annual mission trip to Appalachia.
Food and service are free, but donations are welcome!

Crucifer Training

High School Students will meet in their Sunday School classroom before proceeding to the Sanctuary for Crucifer Training.

Crucifers process and recess while carrying a cross in worship services in the Sanctuary. This is a great way to be involved in the worship experience!

Youth Group Bonfire

Middle School Details:
Meet in the Youth Room at 6pm for a ‘get-to-know-you’ session. Weather permitting, we’ll move outside at 7pm to enjoy a meal together and have a bonfire. Middle School youth need to be picked up by 7:45pm

High School Details:
Join us for a meal, bonfire, and ‘get-to-know-you’ session at 7:00pm. The event runs until 8:30pm.

Acolyte Training

6th - 8th graders will meet in their Sunday School Classroom, then proceed to the Sanctuary.
Acolytes have the privilege of lighting and extinguishing the altar candles and the Christ candle (depending on the season) in the Sanctuary! It is a great way to be part of the worship service.

It is encouraged for one or both parents to also attend!

Salisbury Zoo Workday

Help support the #1 FREE Zoo on the east coast! In preparation for the cold months ahead, the Salisbury Zoo has requested help with the construction of winter dwellings to keep their animals warm. Projects will involve basic carpentry and opportunities to LAUGH and LEARN. No prior experience is needed! Volunteers must be 13 or older to participate.
